David Wilson is a Welsh landscape photographer, renowned for his atmospheric black and white images. He was brought up in Haverfordwest and now lives near the river village of Llangwm with his wife and children. Displaying some of his best monochrome photography, David published his first book, Pembrokeshire with Graffeg in 2013. Exploring his native county, Pembrokeshire displays a series of images signifying an enchanting mystery, unveiling the dramatic and stark beauty of the county. David’s second book, Wales A Photographer’s Journey, showcases the breath-taking landscape across Wales. In 2017 Graffeg published Hinterland: Ceredigion Landscapes and Y Gwyll: Tirweddau Ceredigion, two books beautifully exhibiting production shots from the making of the TV series Hinterland / Y Gwyll alongside David’s photography of the landscapes of Ceredigion, which helped to inspire the series.
