Graffeg authors and illustrators are celebrating World Book Day 7 March 2019 with special events taking place in Cambridge and Wales

Zeb Soanes and James Mayhew launch Gaspard paperback

BBC Radio 4 newsreader, broadcaster and author Zeb Soanes and award-winning illustrator James Mayhew are launching their acclaimed Gaspard the Fox picture book in paperback at school events at Stephen Perse Foundation Junior School in Cambridge and Dame Bradbury’s School in Saffron Walden followed by a public event at Heffers in Cambridge at 4.30pm today, where children will be treated to readings from Zeb and a ‘how to draw foxes’ workshop by James along with a special Gaspard paw print at the book signings.

World Book Day Biggest Book Show

Author and illustrator Max Low is taking part in the World Book Day Biggest Book Show with Lucy Owen, Eloise Williams, Claire Fayers and P. G. Bell at The Hafren theatre in Newtown, Wales. Max will be talking about his charming picture book series Ceri & Deri to an audience of hundreds of local school children.

Malachy Doyle school visit and book signing

Award-winning author Malachy Doyle is joining writer and illustrator Felicity Elena Haf for a special visit to Ysgol Bro Hyddgen in Machynlleth where he will be talking about his acclaimed picture books Molly and the Stormy Sea and Ootch Cootch, followed by a signing event at Pen’rallt Gallery Bookshop.
