Hallowe’en Coconut Ice

We is chef weasels we is doing cooking!

We is going to show you how to make coconut ice. You don’t need a cooker to make them which is great for us because we can’t reach the oven door!

You need:

  • A tin of condensed milk
  • 175g of desiccated coconut
  • 225g of icing sugar
  • Some food colouring
  • A mixing bowl and spoon
  • Some baking paper or cling film

2. Then add half a tin or 200g of condensed milk into the sugar. It is very yummy so you can have a bit too we think! Careful with the edge of tin, Baby Weasus, it is quite sharp!

7. Mix it all up again. It gets quite thick so you need to stir quite hard.

8. Once it is all mixed, you can either lay it out into a flat sheet or you can make it into shapes. As it is halloween, we decided to make ghost and spooky funny faces. Roll in your hands to get a shape and put them on baking parchment.

9. You can add food colouring to some of the mixture to make it different colours. We added some red to some to make spooky bugs. We bought some icing eyes to add to them but you could make the eyes from icing sugar mixed with a little water, or from some of the mixture with a dot of black colouring on.
